James Cameron’s "Avatar" nominated in 9 categories for 2010 Oscars
The movie Avatar directed by James Cameron has been nominated in 9 categories for the Academy awards 2010. There are high expectations that Avatar would dominate the Oscar awards 2010.Avatar is one of the most successful movies in hollywood on the box office breaking various records. Now Avatar is all set to break records at the Academy Awards after being nominated for 9 categories.

“Avatar” has been voted for categories Direction, Music (Original Score), Art Direction, Cinematography, Film Editing, Best Picture, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Visual Effects.In the Oscar awards 2009 last year, Slumdog Millionaire (directed by Danny Boyle) was the foremost hit in various categories. There are great expectations that Avatar movie will lead the final list of Oscar Awards 2010 after dominating nomination list.
"Avatar" is based on a new world in which man have extra ordinary capabilities. The movie has so far been considered the best combination of technology and creativity. The Music for the movie is composed by James Horner.
